is what it says on the cover, simply 1000 s of motif s - I have to disagree with C Brooks review, as I own both books I have found few repeatitions of patterns. Both have a wide range of styles and designs, from simple drawings that can be made into kids copy pictures to complex designs. I use the motifs as inspirations / outlines for fabric bag paintings. Recommended for anyone interested in any form of crafting seeking ideas.

Beware - This is a good book, but if you have already purchased 1000 Motifs for Crafters - by the same authors - you will have a shock, as it has all 1000 design identically reproduced with a slightly different cover and a few pages of instructions.

brillliant book full of everything imaginable - I first saw this book advertised on the ideal world sky shopping program, and being a regular Amazon buyer i knew that they would stock it at a cheaper price - and i was right. The book itself is fantastic! Myself being quite an amateur glass painter, i have also used the designs for cross stitch by simply tracing the designs onto squared paper. The designs can be used for anything you like, even though the book is aimed primarily at glass painters, it has everything from flowers,foliage,nursery/toys,birds, christmas, valentine, sea shells, whales, fruit, borders, lattice designs/panels and loads more! A brilliant book for a very good price.

Easy to use reference book for anyone who needs inspiration. - This book contains over 1,000 patterns, all copyright free, and it is easy to find a pattern with the index. You just use a scanner or photocopier if you wish to change the size to fit your project. There is so much variety, from beginner to complicated styles that there is something for everyone. There are even designs for children that have simple outlines. Anyone who uses patterns for glass painting, silk painting, embroidery, mosaics etc. will find something in this book. Annie
